Matching Gift Challenge
Matching Gift Challenge a Resounding Success
It is with great excitement and gratitude that we share the generous Big Brothers Big Sisters community didn’t just meet Hunter and Beth Reichert’s matching gift challenge of $25,000; together, we crushed it.
Momentum in the final stretch (and some delayed gifts via snail mail) helped us burst across the finish line, ultimately raising $52,778. Combined with their $25,000 match, $77,778 was generated in support of our one-to-one mentoring relationships and programming – over 13.5% of our overall budgeted expenses for the year!
There were gifts big and small. New and existing donors, community members, Littles’ families, current and former Bigs, staff, Board members, local businesses, and more comprised our network of supporters. Collectively donors leveraged their support, exceeded the challenge, and demonstrated their belief in our Littles and BBBS’ work to support them in achieving their greatest potential.
Our deepest appreciation to:
Hunter and Beth for their generous investment in BBBS of talent, time, and resources, creating this opportunity for challenge participants to double their impact.
all of the donors who stepped up to the plate, ultimately hitting a Grand Slam for our organization and those we serve.
our Bigs, Littles, and families who help tell the BBBS story and illustrate impacts in ways only they can.
each and every member of the BBBS community for their engagement with our mission and work, whether as an advocate, donor, event sponsor, participant, programming partner, volunteer, or in many cases, a combination of. Our work is possible only through our shared efforts and collective investment.
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
